<itunes:summary>Wednesday Night Sport's Andrew Snaith and Weekend Wakeup's Jack Critchley took over the much-missed Takedown show recently and we've got the best bits right here.

Regular hosts Mark Coulson and Ross Mitchell were off moshing their backsides off at the Download Festival, but also providing up to the minute on-phone shouting. Celebrity spats featuring Sir Patrick Stewart and The X Factor sit alongside the most politically-correct quiz ever made, animal safety and Jack's Curious Entrant. It's banter with a b so large it's visible from space.

Catch Andrew on Wednesday evenings 7-10pm alongside Adam Callen and Andy Muckles, while Jack presides over Weekend Wakeup, Saturdays and Sundays 7-10am with Phil Dean. Enjoy all of the above via www.sparksunderland.com and 107 Spark FM.

Armed with a microphone several days before one of the biggest support gigs of his musical career so far, Grime MC, ABSORB, recorded an audio diary each day reflecting on the pressure and excitment building to the event...

The event took place at The Sage, Gateshead, and had billed the North East duo, Absorb Vs Sequel, first on at a packed house gig, suporting UK grime artist Skepta!

<itunes:summary>'The Mighty Mackem' Tony Jeffries returns to the 107 Spark FM Wednesday Night Sports Show (7-10pm) this evening with news of his next pro fight which takes place right here in Sunderland.

Olympic medallist Tony and trainer Bobby Rimmer join your host Andrew Snaith and fellow presenters Andy Muckles and Adam Callen live online and on Wearside at www.sparksunderland.com and 107 Spark FM respectively.

Questions for Tony welcome via the Wednesday Night Sport Facebook Group or by e-mailing Andrew.Snaith@sparksunderland.com

Plus you can always text 60300 with SPARK at the beginning of your message or email studio@sparksunderland.com between 7-10pm. We'll be talking World Cup, Wimbledon, One Day Cricket and Formula One. Tonight's show also features regulars Jon Stokoe, Ian Linsley and a couple of others yet unconfirmed. The Callen Question, Snaith Snippet and Jack Critchley's Sticker Album will also be apparent.

In the meantime, why not enjoy Tony's last visit to the studio earlier this month two days before his seventh professional victory over Matt Hainey...

<itunes:summary>What better way to warm up for tonight's special with Tony Jeffries than enjoying the best of the action from the past two weeks on Spark FM's popular Sports Show?

Tyne Tees star Roger Tames gives his usual strong opinion on the World Cup coverage, using his unique perspective as an ITV employee to give real insight. Hear Roger's uncompromising view on the England/Algeria game.

We have students living in Sunderland from USA and France on the line to give a foreign point of view, with Ian Linsley from Burnmoor Cricket Club talking One Day Internationals and offers his opinion on Durham CCC and one Steve Harmison. Local journalist and Sunderland AFC season-ticket holder Jon Stokoe looks ahead to the new season by looking over the opening fixtures.

Breakfast legend Jack Critchley gives us double World Cup Sticker Album action, catch Jack, Phil and Steph every Saturday and Sunday 7-10am only on 107 Spark FM.

Don't forget, you can still enter our World Cup Prediction Competition. It's free of charge and simplicity itself to take part, just add your comment to the relevant thread on our Facebook Group. The winner earns a chance to join us in the studio for our post-World Cup special!

We also have a five-minute Extra Time beauty with our on-air 'out-takes' and what we found particularly amusing, if not so relevant. We also talk Tennis, Rugby and F1, featuring our regular round-up.

Join Andrew Snaith, Adam Callen and Andy Muckles this Wednesday 7-10pm as usual on 107 Spark FM, with The Mighty Mackem Tony Jeffries talking about his latest professional fight right here in Sunderland!

On 17th June Breakfast Show caught up with Grace House about there next event the midnight walk on saturday 19th June. Below is the interview in plus more information about the event.

Ladies, get your friends, family and colleagues together for a Saturday night out with a difference, where that ‘morning after the night before’ feeling is a great one!

Our second ladies-only sponsored walk will take place at Sunderland on Saturday 19th June. It is not a race but just a personal challenge to complete a 10km midnight walk following St Bedes Way along

the coastal path from Seaburn to the Wearmouth Bridge and returning, passing the Anglo Saxon St Peters Church, to Seaburn for a refreshing cup of tea and an early breakfast!

Whether you walk in memory of someone, or just as a personal challenge, it will be a night to remember and your sponsorship will help raise vital funds for the appeal and help children and their families across the North East.

Each entry is £15 (or £50 for group of four) This covers the cost of organising and running the event which means the sponsorship money you will raise will go directly into the charity and help to build

Grace House later this year. Every walker will receive a special Midnight Walk t-shirt, glow stick, medal and breakfast at the finishing line. Prior to the walk we will send you an event pack containing ideas on how to raise your sponsorship and those all important sponsor forms.

Volunteers (including men) needed too

Volunteers are essential to the running of this event e.g. marshalling the route, registering walkers,

serving refreshments etc. If you can help or can ask any family members including husbands, partners,

fathers and sons please let us know. Call us on 0191 516 6302 or let us know on the entry form.

For More information on Grace House Click Here or visit there facebook and twitter http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=94759275334 and https://twitter.com/gracehousene
