World Cup Draw!

The World Cup draw has been made!

England have been drawn into Group C along with the United States, Algeria and Slovenia.

The Three Lions are one of eight seeded teams meaning that they were the first teams to get drawn, each one going into one of the groups which meant that they couldn’t face teams like Brazil, Spain etc in the group stages. They could however have been drawn against teams like Portugal, who have knocked them out of the past two competitions, and previous winners France. Instead Portugal find themselves in a group with Brazil, North Korea and the Ivory Coast; France got drawn against the hosts South Africa, Mexico and winners of the first ever World Cup, Uruguay.

England are joint third favourites with the bookies to lift the trophies so remember to cheer them on come the summer!
